Download and Install

Download the Installation package. Save the file at the default location (or at a different location, if you are familiar with Windows).
Navigate to the file location and double-click on the file name Ekalipi6.4.exe.
Save this Ekalipi6.4.exe file.
Click on the saved executable (i.e. .exe) file. Note- You may receive the following warning. Do not be concerned. This is the standard Windows warning for .exe files. Click on “Run Anyway”.
Click on the Yes button.
You should now see the “installation complete” message window. This means that the Ekalipi Keyboard has been installed on your computer.
Note - If you are using Windows 7, please see the Windows 7 instructions instead.

Keyboard Setup for Windows 10

Go to Language Settings, click on the Add Language button.
On the left side, you should see “Eekalipi Script Keyboard – Custom”. When you click that option, the Ekalipi Keyboard is added in your Language section.
Reboot your computer. After you have rebooted the computer, click on the keyboard icon on the taskbar. You will first see the default keyboard.
Click on the keyboard icon in the right hand corner then click on the Ekalipi keyboard. You should now see the Ekalipi keyboard:

Click window+r button
Type "ctfmon" in open section.Click "ok".

After that star the “on screen keyboard”.
On the right side of the taskbar, you will see the EN icon.
Click on this icon, you should see “Eekalipi Script Keyboard- Custom”.

Tap on it, it will show the Ekalipi Windows Keyboard.

If you do not see the Ekalipi Keyboard go to Control Panel- Region and Language. Click on Keyboards and Languages. Then click on the Change Keyboards button.
After that open Text Services and Input Languages window. You will see Eakalipi Script Keyboard- Custom”, click on that keyboard then click on the OK or Apply button.
Click on Change Key Sequence.. Tick the Enable Key Sequence Left Alt + Shift-- Key 1, then click Ok button.

Features

Adjustable Keyboard Height (Drag Handle): - When the keyboard is open, drag the **gray handle bar** at the top of the keyboard up or down to resize instantly.; - The keyboard remembers your preferred height.; - Note: There is no slider for keyboard height in the app settings; resizing is only via the drag handle when the keyboard is open.

Glide Typing (Swipe Typing)

- Enable **Glide Mode** in the app settings.

- Slide your finger across the keys to form words. The keyboard will suggest words as you swipe.

- Adjust the **Glider Dwell Time (ms)** using the number input in settings (minimum 50ms, maximum 1000ms) to control how long you must pause on a key for it to register.

Auto-Suggestion

- Enable or disable **Auto-Suggestion** in the settings.

- The keyboard will suggest words as you type.

- When you select a suggested word, it is automatically added to your personal dictionary and will appear in future suggestions as soon as you type it again.

Dictionary Selection

- The app supports two dictionary types: **Ekalipi** and **Roman (Latin Script)**.

- By default, the dictionary is set to Roman for all users. You can change it in the app settings if needed.

Conjunct Feature

- This feature is currently disabled and not available in this version. You may see it in the settings, but it has no effect until a future update.

Language Switch

- Long-press the spacebar to switch languages (if multiple are enabled).

Toolbar Features

- The app includes a toolbar with options for **Help & User Manual**, **Troubleshooting**, and a **Rate Us** button to rate the app on the Play Store.

- Access Help and Troubleshooting from the menu (three dots or toolbar) in the app.

Tips

- If the keyboard does not resize as expected, it may be due to system restrictions on your device or Android version.

- The drag handle is only visible when the keyboard is open (not in the settings screen).

- For best suggestions, type words as you would normally write them; the keyboard will learn new words as you use them.

- You can always reset the keyboard height by dragging the handle again.

Troubleshooting & Help

- Keyboard not appearing? Ensure Ekalipi Keyboard is enabled and set as default in your device's input settings. You can also access the Troubleshooting dialog from the app menu for more solutions.

- Cannot resize keyboard? Some devices limit the minimum and maximum keyboard height for usability.

- Glide typing not working? Make sure Glide Mode is enabled in the app settings.

- Newly added word not showing in suggestions? Try restarting the app or device. Make sure you are typing the word exactly as it was added. If the problem persists, check that the app has storage permissions and the database is not corrupted.

- Keyboard not switching? Tap the keyboard icon in the navigation bar to select Ekalipi Keyboard.

To delete the old App-Ekalipi

1.Go to the phone settings.

3.Find Ekalipi Keyboard

4.Click on Uninstall

1.Turn on Phone

2.Make sure mobile is connected to Internet

3.Tap on download from Google Play Store

4.Enter the Ekalipi Keyboard on Google Play store

5.Tap to Install

6.Accept ( Depending on Internet Speed )

Implement the Keyboard.

1.Go to the setting

2.Click on Language & Input

3.Click on Current Keyboard

4.Click on choose keyboard

5.Tap on Ekalipi Keyboard

6.Click on Attention

Open any application which you can type.

Click on English Ekalipi Keyboard.
To change keyboard tap on Keyboard Icon.

Instructions of IOS keyboard

To add the keyboard to your list of keyboards, please do the following.

Tap the Apple "Settings" icon.
Tap the "General" entry on the left side of the screen.
Scroll up or down. When you see "Keyboard" entry, tap on it.
Tap the "keyboards" entry.
Tap on "Add New Keyboard".
Search for and add the Ekalipi keyboard".

Once this keyboard has been added to the list of keyboards, you can tap on the “world” icon to rotate through the available keyboards.

Open the Notes application.
Tap on the world icon on the bottom left of the keyboard.
You may need to tap it again, until you see the Ekalipi keyboard.
Type Hλl-lo War-l-d.
